Joseph E. Carney Appointed Managing Director, Head of Global Markets Relationship Management – USA
Natixis today announced the appointment of Joseph E. Carney as Managing Director, Head of Global Markets Relationship Management – USA. In this newly created position, Mr. Carney will report locally to Kevin Alexander, Head of Global Markets Americas, and globally to Christine Coudray, Global Head of Senior Relationship Management and CMU.
Mr. Carney will be responsible for:
- Strengthening Natixis relationships with Non-Bank Financial Institutions
- Overseeing new business development and retention and deepening of existing client relationships
Mr. Carney has over 25 years of financial services experience, most recently at BlackRock, where he was Managing Director, Global Head of Business Development for BlackRock Solutions Financial Markets Advisory. Before BlackRock, he was a Managing Director at RBS where he held various leadership roles within Markets and International Banking. Earlier in his career, he worked for nearly 10 years each at Morgan Stanley and at First Boston/Credit Suisse. Mr. Carney holds an MBA and a BS in Engineering magna cum laude from Loyola University.
