Raghu Narain is Head of Investment Banking, Asia Pacific at Natixis, with responsibility for M&A, Acquisition Financing, Strategic Equity, and DCM solutions.
Raghu has over 20 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance and economic policy advisory. Over his career, he has originated and closed more than 100 transactions by financing and advising US$100+ billion in completed deals for global companies, across the US and Asia.
Raghu joined Natixis in Hong Kong in July 2015 as Head of Corporate Advisory, Asia Pacific, and was appointed to his current role in August 2016. Prior to Natixis, Raghu was with RBS in Hong Kong, where he was Head of Sector Advisory and Global Industrials Group. Before moving to Asia, he was at Bank of America in New York where he was a Director responsible for M&A and capital raising activities for the Global Transportation and Logistics Group. Raghu began his investment banking career with Salomon Smith Barney / Citigroup in New York.
Raghu has also worked at Bridgewater Associates as an Investment Associate and in the field of development finance at the Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID). He completed his Master’s degree at Harvard University and is a member of United Nations ESCAP Sustainable Business Network taskforces.
